Xiaomi has teamed up with sports car company Lamborghini to launch a special edition model of the Redmi K90 Pro Max. It is named Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship. The company detailed the device on Chinese social media website Weibo. Users will get ultra premium design and high-end performance in this smartphone. And this device is said to be made in collaboration with Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse motorsport division.
This division handles racing categories such as Lamborghini’s World Endurance Championship. So the company claims that the Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship model will offer a race-inspired design that gives a fast and powerful feel. It has a metal crater-style camera enclosure. Although its specifications are kept almost the same as the regular Redmi K90 Pro Max.
Specifications and features of Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship
The new Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship device features the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor as the standard model for performance. This is Qualcomm’s flagship chipset this year. It also comes with the D2 AI graphics chip, which will further enhance the gaming and multimedia experience. Besides, it also features Intelligent Power Management System.
The standard Redmi K90 Pro Max phone had a 2.1 stereo system, developed with Bose. Apart from this, two super linear speakers were also provided. But the Sound by Bose branding has been removed from the Champion Edition. However, it is not yet known what speakers it has.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship Edition will get an IP68 rating, which will keep it safe from water and dust. That is, this smartphone will give a premium feel not only in performance but also in build-quality. It also has a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, which supports full RGB color simulation and DC dimming.
For photography, its camera setup includes a 5x periscope telephoto lens, a Light Hunter 950 sensor with 10x lossless zoom and OIS support, a large 1/1.31-inch primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Redmi K90 Pro Max Championship Price
The Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition is priced at 4,000 Yuan (around Rs. 50,000) in China. This phone is a new addition to Redmi’s premium range. It is currently only available in China. It is not yet known whether the device will be launched in the global market.
