Recently, the Redmi K90 Pro Max was launched in China alongside the Redmi K90. The second model comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, along with the company’s D2 display chip and a 7560mAh battery. This phone will have a 6.9-inch OLED screen, with a minimum brightness of 1 nit. On the other hand, the standard Redmi K90 model has a 6.59-inch display with a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio. And while both the devices have a Bose tuned speaker setup, the Redmi K90 Pro Max handset features an additional 2.1 channel stereo speaker.
Redmi K90 Series Price and Availability
The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Redmi K90 Pro Max is priced at 3,999 Yuan (around Rs. 49,000). And its 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variants are priced at 4,499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 55,000) and 4,799 Yuan (approx. Rs. 59,000) respectively. Again, the top model with 16 GB RAM + 1 TB inbuilt storage is priced at 5,299 Yuan (about Rs. 65,000).
Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Redmi K90 has been priced at 2,599 Yuan (around Rs. 32,000). Besides, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variants have been priced at 2,899 Yuan (about Tk 35,000), 3,199 Yuan (about Tk 39,000) and 3,499 Yuan (about Tk 43,000) respectively. And the most expensive variant is priced at 3,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 49,000) and has 16GB RAM + 1TB onboard storage.
Both the smartphones will be available from the company’s online store in China. The Redmi K90 model comes in White, Black, Aqua Blue and Light Purple colors. On the other hand, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will be available in Denim, Golden White and Black (translated from Chinese) color options.
Specifications and features of Redmi K90 Pro Max
The Redmi K90 Pro Max and Redmi K90 smartphones run on Android 16 based Hyper OS 3 custom skin. The Pro Max model has a 6.9-inch (1200×2608 pixels) OLED display, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 480 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 3500 nits. This display will support Dolby Vision and Wet Touch 2.0.
Redmi K90 Pro Max handset uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will be available with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage. The highlight of the phone is the Bose-tuned 2.1 triple-speaker stereo system, which consists of two stereo speakers and a woofer.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphone features a triple rear camera unit for photography. These cameras are a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. This camera can record 8K video. It will have a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max device is powered by a 7,560 mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It also has 22.5W wired and wireless reverse charging. There will be an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

The front of the Redmi K90 phone can be seen with a 6.59-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,156×2,510 pixels. Other screen features are same as Redmi K90 Pro Max. The standard model comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
For photos and videos, the Redmi K90 device will also get a triple-rear camera unit, which includes a 50-megapixel primary 1/1.55-inch sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 20-megapixel selfie camera will be available at the front. It has the same video-capturing capabilities as the Pro Max model.
The Redmi K90 smartphone is powered by a 7,100mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging. Moreover, it also supports 22.5W reverse charging.
