
Realme is all set to launch its much-awaited Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro flagship smartphones in China on October 21. Already the company has confirmed only a few details about the GT 8 series models. And now a well-known tipster has revealed more details about both the smartphones on social media.
Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro Specifications (Expected)
Tipster Bold Panda has revealed in his recent Weibo post that the Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro devices will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display, which supports 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. No information has surfaced about the front camera of these handsets, but it is reported that the Realme GT 8 phone will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope camera.
On the other hand, the Realme GT 8 Pro’s rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel sensor for the primary and ultra-wide cameras, along with a 200-megapixel periscope camera. It is believed to be the Samsung HP5 sensor. The Realme GT 8 Pro phone is confirmed to have a swappable camera deco, but it is not yet clear if the Realme GT 8 will also get the same feature.
Battery and processor
Incidentally, the Realme GT 8 model will be powered by a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Pro version will get the same battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will also support 50W PPS and 44W UFCS charging protocols. The device will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
RAM and storage
Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro smartphones are expected to have a maximum of 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The two handsets are expected to be the company’s first phones to run Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro will be available in multiple colors like White, Blue and Green.
