Vodafone Idea (Vi) is currently losing customers due to lack of 5G networking services and poor 4G speeds in most circles. In such a situation, the telecom company is planning to win the trust of existing customers by exploiting one of their ‘plus points’ i.e. unlimited data usage at midnight. And so Vi today (31st May) launched two new plans priced at Rs 17 and Rs 57, which will offer unlimited night data. The company has also launched another recharge plan of Rs 1,999 with a validity of 250 days. This plan will offer unlimited voice calling, local / STD SMS and 1.5GB data per day
Incidentally, other major telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharati Airtel have also now started offering unlimited data to 5G smartphones and 5G network users. However, as fifth generation mobile cellular networks are not yet available in every region of India, this offer is currently only accessible to a limited number of people. Benefits of Vi’s Rs 17 prepaid plan
Vodafone Idea’s new Rs 17 prepaid plan will offer unlimited night data from 12 pm to 6 am. Its validity is 24 hours. The pack does not offer any outgoing calls or SMS. That is, if you want to make voice calls or send SMS, you need to recharge another primary plan along with this secondary plan.
57 prepaid plan of Vi
The Rs 57 prepaid plan offers more benefits than the Rs 17 plan. It comes with a validity of 7 days (168 hours). This plan will also provide unlimited night data to the customers. However, like the previous recharge pack, it will not offer any other benefits.
1,999 for Vodafone Idea Prepaid Plan Benefits
Apart from the mentioned two add-on data packs, Vodafone Idea has also launched another prepaid plan of Rs 1,999. It comes with 250 days validity and offers unlimited calling. Besides, maximum 100 outgoing SMS per day and 1.5 GB data per day can be used under this plan. However, once the fixed data limit is exhausted, the internet speed will reduce to 64 kbps. Similarly, once the daily quota of 100 outgoing SMS is exhausted, additional SMS will be charged.
In this case Rs.1 per local SMS and Rs.1.5 per STD SMS will be charged. This plan is mainly aimed at customers who want to enjoy unlimited calling and data with long validity.
