Tata Nexon is the company’s first car to feature paddle shifters

It is clear from the picture that the new Tata Nexon uses a flat bottom steering wheel with two spokes. At the center of the steering wheel will be the illuminated Tata logo, which will give a special premium look. In this case, it is better to say that the same kind of steering design was seen in the Curvv concept.
But the bigger surprise is that the updated version of the Tata Nexon will be the company’s first model to feature paddle shifters. This will make it possible to upshift and downshift the transmission system as per your choice while driving.

The instrument cluster has also been changed. The biggest update to the 2023 Tata Nexon, however, has taken place inside the cabin. For the convenience of customers, this car will have a 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment system. Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity are also included. Additionally, ventilated seats, built-in air purifier, 360 degree camera, electric sunroof features await the customers.

Powerful engine

The new powerful engine will be used in the updated version of Tata Nexon. The car will run on a 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 125 bhp and 225 Nm of torque. However, there is also a normal petrol engine option. Moreover, the 1.5 liter diesel engine will also be kept. The sub-compact SUV is available in six-speed manual and six-speed DCT automatic gearbox options.

Apart from launching the facelift edition of the Nexon, Tata Motors is going to bring the CNG version of its micro SUV Punch in the next few months. Like the Altroz CNG, the 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine will be paired with the dual cylinder CNG setup. In CNG mode, the engine will output 76 bhp and 97 Nm respectively. The CNG variant will only be offered with a five-speed manual gearbox.
