Samsung Galaxy A22 5G spotted on Geekbench, key specifications revealed


Samsung Galaxy A22 5G spotted on the benchmarking platform “Geekbench” revealing the key specifications. The smartphone is rumourly touted as the upcoming cheapest 5G smartphone from the South Korean tech Giant. A few days back the Galaxy A22 5G CAD renders surfaced online that tipped the overall look of the smartphone.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G with model number SM-A226B will come powered with Arm MT6833V/NZA which is the model number of MediaTek Dimensity 700 that comes paired with Mali G57 MC2 GPU.


The Smartphone is able to score 562 in single-core and grabs 1765 in multi-cores on Geekbench 5 platform. The scores are decent for an affordable 5G smartphone. The device will come running on Android 11 and it is listed on Geekbench with 6GB RAM and may come in other RAM variants as well.


The CAD renders from Steve Hemmerstoffer aka Onleaks exclusive to voice have revealed that the smartphone will come with a triple rear camera, and waterdrop notch display. The phone will sport a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grill at the bottom, and a volume rocker along with a power button embedded with the fingerprint sensor on the right edge.


However, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G spotted on Geekbench and also the CAD renders surfaced online hinting that the smartphone will hit the market soon.
