Vivo V21 5G confirmed to launch on April 29 in India, expected specifications


Vivo V21 5G confirmed to launch on April 29 by Flipkart Microsite that also tipped the key specifications. The Flipkart page confirmed that the smartphone will sport a 44MP selfie camera with OIS stabilization, a U-shaped notch display, triple rear camera and it is the first smartphone to come with front camera OIS support.

The previous leak tipped the detailed specifications of the device. The Vivo V21 5G will feature a 6.44-inches Samsung E3 AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support, and 800nits of peak brightness. The smartphone will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset that comes paired with Mali G57 MC3 GPU.


The smartphone will boast a triple rear camera that will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone will sport a 44-megapixel front-facing camera with OIS support and dual front flash as well.

The device will come equipped with a 4000mah battery and may support 33W fast charging. The device will come running on Android 11 out of the box and will weigh 176 grams only along with 7.29 thickness. The smartphone will come in three color options namely Sunset Dazzle, Dusk blue & Arctic White.


However, the Vivo V21 series is launching in Malaysia on 27th April, two days ahead of India’s launch. The series is slated to include two devices Vivo V21 5G and Vivo V21 SE. However, things become more clear after the launch of the phone in Malaysia.
