Realme 8 5G launched in Thailand today as the budget 5G offering and the smartphone is going to launch tomorrow in India may be along with Realme 8 Pro 5G. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup, 90Hz IPS display, a 5000mah big battery, MediaTek budget 5G chipset, and more.

Realme 8 5G features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 405 DPI pixel density, 600 nits peak brightness, and 90.5% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G octa-core chipset coupled with ARM Mali-G57 GPU. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 162.5mm x 74.8mm x 8.5mm and weighs 185 grams.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel black and white portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole on the top left corner. The phone is running on Android 11 with Realme UI on top.
The device comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-FI, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the phone sports Distance Sensor, Gyroscope, Light sensor, Motion Sensor, Electromagnetic wave sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme 8 5G comes in two storage configurations of 8GB + 128GB for ฿9,999 ( Rs. 24,100 approx ), 4GB + 128GB price is not revealed yet and the company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Supersonic Blue, and Supersonic Black. Realme 8 5G launched in Thailand only for now and the 8GB + 128GB options is available for purchase via JD central, Lazada, Shopee, and Thisshop.com while the 4GB + 128GB option is marked as coming soon.
