OPPO A96 5G features a 6.43 inches OLED display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1000000:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut support, and 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with an Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM with 5GB virtual RAM support and 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Interestingly, this phone’s rear camera features LED rings around the camera sensors. For selfies, the Oppo A96 sports a 16-megapixel front facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. The device comes running on Android 11 with Color OS 12 skin on top.

OPPO A96 5G comes in a solo configuration of 8GB + 256GB priced at 1,999 yuan ( Rs. 23,300 approx ) and the company offered the phone in three color options namely Colored Graze, Apricot powder warm sun, and Night Dream Night star. The device is currently available for pre-orders and will go for sale from January 9 in China.
