Mileage will take the market by storm, Maruti’s new car is the focus of discussion ahead of its launch

Maruti Suzuki will launch its new multipurpose vehicle or MPV Invicto next month. July 5 is scheduled as the launch date. It is the rebadged version of Toyota Innova Crysta. In terms of price, it will overtake the most expensive model in the company’s lineup, the Grand Vitara.

After Fronx and Jimny, Maruti Suzuki Invicto is going to be the company’s biggest launch till now in a gap of two and a half months. But what is significant is that after the Invicto, Maruti is going to launch two relatively affordable cars for the middle-class buyers in the next year back-to-back. These are – the compact premium hatchback Maruti Suzuki Swift and the new generation version of the compact sedan Dzire.

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift

The design of the new version of the upcoming Swift is getting a complete makeover. There are also a number of innovations in the cabin. The car has been seen testing several times on foreign roads. It may enter the market in early 2024. The biggest update is the new hybrid powertrain. The car will come with a 1.2 liter three cylinder, strong hybrid petrol engine. Which can be offered in mid-spec and top-end variants. The new model has a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. A 5-speed AMT is also available as an option.

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Like the Swift, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to get a massive update. A touch of innovation will be noticed in both the exterior and interior. The Dzire will have a lot in common with its hatchback sibling Swift in terms of updates. It is expected to launch in mid-2024. It will also come with a strong hybrid engine. There will be a bunch of new features and technology. The strong hybrid petrol engine is speculated to deliver a mileage of 35-40 kmpl, which is a first in the segment.
