The ‘Mobile World Congress’ (MWC 2024) tech show started today (26th February) and will continue till 29th February. Many reputed brands showcase their upcoming products at this event. Infinix today teased a new flagship gaming smartphone at the MWC 2024 event. The device is named Infinix GT Ultra. It is claimed that this model will be launched with new gaming technology and several advanced features. Incidentally, Infinix also revealed at the event how the device performed in tests conducted by AnTuTu benchmarking site.

The Infinix GT Ultra flagship smartphone was teased at the MWC 2024 tech show

Infinix took the wraps off their upcoming high-end gaming phone Infinix GT Ultra on the first day of the MWC 2024 tech show held in Barcelona, ​​Spain. The company has informed that the device will be launched with new gaming technology. Again, for this phone to be able to offer top-notch performance, there is more focus on four categories namely – processor, graphics, cooling and AI optimization. Infinix has confirmed that the upcoming model will come with the flagship grade MediaTek Dimension 9300 processor.

Talking about other features, this handset will support Coolmax technology. Basically, this thermal technology will ensure that the device stays cool even during heavy and prolonged use. In this case, the Coolmax technology is claimed to be able to reduce the temperature up to 10-degree Celsius.

As we mentioned earlier, Infinix has released the AnTutu score of this upcoming gaming phone. It is reported that the Infinix GT Ultra smartphone scored 2,215,639 points in the tests conducted by the benchmarking site.

Incidentally, Infinix recently announced the use of the Pixelworks visual processor in its upcoming device to offer a Full HD Plus panel with a 180Hz refresh rate and a WQHD+ display feature with a 144Hz refresh rate. However, it is not yet clear which display configuration the Infinix GT Ultra flagship will be launched with.

Notably, apart from this gaming phone, Infinix announced two new charging technologies during the MWC 2024 tech show. The first of which is the Infinix AirCharge and the second is the Infinix Extreme Temp Battery. As the name suggests, the first is a wireless charging technology. And the Extreme Temp battery is designed in such a way that it will allow charging even in temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius.
