The SUV model is available in four variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. 34,000 on the first and Rs 64,000 on the other variants. Maruti is offering a 5 year warranty on this car and 8 years on the hybrid battery.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Price and Rivals
The current price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has gone from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.93 lakh (ex-showroom). Note that Toyota sells a rebadged version of this car. Its name is Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider. Competitors in the market include Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Citroen C3 Aircross, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara : Engine
Maruti Grand Vitara's strong hybrid engine produces a maximum power of 91 bhp and 122 Nm of torque. Connected to it is the electric motor, which is powered by a battery pack. The car can be optioned with an e-CVT automatic transmission option.
Maruti Grand Vitara's naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power of 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. However, no automatic transmission is offered with the CNG powertrain.
