In June Bajaj entered the market with a few updated models of the Pulsar series and various electric scooters. Several such models are appearing to shake the market in July as well. Bajaj CNG Motorcycle
Bajaj Auto is going to launch the world's first CNG motorcycle on July 5, 2024. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will be present at the launch meeting besides Bajaj Auto CEO Rajiv Bajaj. The name of the upcoming motorcycle has not been revealed yet.
It is speculated that Bajaj will give their upcoming CNG motorcycle the same power as a 100-150 cc petrol bike. It is expected to have dual fuel tanks. ie one CNG and one petrol tank. In that case, the bike will be able to run on CNG and petrol. The teaser image showed the model with a flat seat and CNG tank lid. Bajaj claims that running costs will be 50% lower than a petrol-powered two-wheeler.
BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter
BMW Motorrad has started preparations for the launch of their first electric scooter on July 24. The model name is BMW CE 04. The company claims that it can reach a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour. Again the 0-50 km/h speed will rise in 2.6 seconds. The company said it will give a range of 129 km on a full charge. The battery will take 4 hours 20 minutes to fully charge. If charged by fast charger, it will take 1 hour 40 minutes.
