Hyundai: Crazy crowd for this Hyundai car! Almost all bookings are taken alone

Hyundai currently has pending orders for 65,000 vehicles. More than half of those bookings are for the Creta SUV. The South Korean company sold more than 49,000 passenger cars in India last month.

At the beginning of June, the sales figures of the popular South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai (Hyundai) were brought forward in the last month. They managed to sell 49,151 units of hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs in May. Which is only 1.13 percent more than May 2023. Hyundai also said that half of its accumulated bookings are for the Creta model. As a result, the popularity of the car is clearly visible.

Hyundai has accumulated 65,000 bookings

The country's second largest carmaker has given bad news to buyers at a time of rising demand. In fact, when sales increase, car companies see the biggest impact on supplying demand. If the production is not increased, the waiting period increases. That is, after booking the car, customers have to wait for months to get the delivery. Same is the case with Hyundai.

Hyundai said they currently have around 65,000 bookings. The number is not less. Most of these people have shown interest in the Creta range of cars. It is currently their best selling car. Among which Creta N Line has the longest waiting period. In this regard, Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India said, “Our Hyundai Creta N Line is the most in demand. Currently its waiting period is the longest, which is around 10 weeks.”

Garg added, “We are trying to increase the availability of Hyundai Creta N Line. This car has attracted many young generation buyers. We are thinking of producing 15,000 units of all N-Line models every year.” Incidentally, the Hyundai Creta N Line was launched in India last March at Rs 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom). The car gets 158 bhp of power and 253 Nm of torque from its 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine. Crater sold 14,662 models last month.
