The Honda CBR650R is a shining star in the sports bike scene in India. Literally, it's a biker's dream. Honda launched the new version of the CBR650R in the global market last year. Now in India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has filed the design trademark for the new generation CBR650. From what is indicated, the new version of the CBR650R model is going to come to India this time as well.
2024 Honda CBR650R may launch soon in India
Please note that the filing of the design trademark does not necessarily mean that the 2024 version of the sports bike is coming to the Indian market. In many cases, a manufacturer files a trademark to protect a design. So that other companies cannot bring the same design bike in the market. But since the Honda CBR650R is already on sale in the Indian market, the possibility of a new version launch is high. This bike can be launched in the next few months.
Adding to the roar of the 2024 Honda CBR650R is a 649 cc, liquid cooled, inline four cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power of 93 bhp at 12,000 rpm and a torque of 63 Nm at 9,500 rpm. Mating the motor is a 6-speed gearbox. Honda claims that this bike can travel 20.4 kilometers on 1 liter of petrol.
The Honda CBR650R features a 15.4 liter fuel tank. That is, if the tank is filled with fuel, it can run for 300 km. It has E-Clutch technology. But whether this E-Clutch will be available in the Indian version, it is not possible to say for sure right now. It has 41mm Showa separate function big piston front fork with steel diamond frame and 10 state adjustable rear monoshock suspension. Braking duties are handled by 310 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes, paired with dual channel ABS and switchable traction control.
