Oppo is going to bring back the popular Find X series for its Indian customers. Although the company has not officially revealed anything about these plans, a reliable tipster has hinted that the Oppo Find X series could return to India with the launch of the new generation Find X8 lineup of phones. Please note that after the unveiling of the Oppo Find X and Oppo Find X2 series, no device from the Find X lineup has entered the country. However, this trend is expected to change with the Oppo Find X8 series. Let's take a look at what information has emerged about the expected Indian launch of the upcoming flagship phones.
Will Oppo Find X8 series come to the Indian market?
Tipster Mukul Sharma in a post from his X (formerly Twitter) handle revealed that Oppo might launch its new Oppo Find X8 series flagship phones in China and other countries as well as in India. Although the tipster did not reveal any other details about the series, recent reports suggest that the Oppo Find X8 series will include two models – the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and the standard Oppo Find X8 – which are yet to be unveiled in the home market of China.
The said handsets will debut as successors to Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Oppo Find X7. The Find X7 series along with the base Oppo Find X7 model was launched in China in January this year at a starting price of 4,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 59,000).
Note that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra phone may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, while the regular Oppo Find X8 phone is expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The 'Ultra' variant of the series is said to come with an under-display ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, an optical fingerprint sensor can be seen on the Oppo Find X8 model.
