Nothing’s second smartphone, Nothing Phone (2) is set to launch in July. And as that day approaches, more and more reports of the phone being spotted on various certification platforms are coming forward. Now, the device has received clearance from the TDRA of the United Arab Emirates. Let’s see what is known about Nothing Phone (2).

Some new information about UAE’s TDRA certification Nothing Phone (2) has surfaced. Just like other certification platforms, its listing reveals that the model number of the smartphone is “A065”. Notably, its predecessor the Nothing Phone (1) carried the model number A063.

Incidentally, Nothing is gradually releasing the specifications of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2). The company has officially announced that it will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. Which can support FullHD+ resolution with 120 Hz refresh rate. The company has already confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The Geekbench (benchmarking platform) listing of the handset revealed that it will offer 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 13 operating system.

The phone will be powered by Nothing OS 2.0 software version. Nothing commits to providing three major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates to their phones. In terms of power backup, the Nothing Phone (2) will come with a 4,700 mAh battery However, nothing is known about its fast charging capabilities yet. Specific details regarding the device’s camera setup are also yet to be revealed. However, it is reported that the Phone (2) will be made of sturdy materials and will also feature an aluminum frame.

Notably, a few days ago well-known tipster, Steve Hammerstoffer aka Onlix released the design of the Nothing Phone (2) through computer aided design (CAD) renders. But shortly after the images surfaced, Nothing’s founder and CEO Carl Pei took to Twitter to write “fake” in a tweet, suggesting they were fake.
