Tecno is currently gearing up to launch the Pova 5 smartphone series in the Indian market. In this regard, the company has already confirmed that the said lineup will be available on e-commerce site Amazon after the launch. And today Tecno shared a teaser video showing how the existing LED arc interface will work on the back panel of the handsets under the mentioned series. Besides, the launch date of Tecno Pova 5 series has also been announced by the company.
Tecno launched the Tecno Pova 5 4G smartphone in select domestic markets last month. In the global market it comes with MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
The company itself has teased the LED arc interface of the Tecno Pova 5 smartphone series
In the latest teaser video shared by the company, the LED arc interface used on the back panel of the Tecno Pova 5 series has been teased. As seen in the video, every time the phone receives an incoming call, the back panel of the device will light up in multiple colors. The LED arc interface of the upcoming Tecno Mobile will work much like the Glyph interface of the Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2. However, what other functionality this new technology will offer in the series phones is yet to be revealed.
When will the Tecno Pova 5 smartphone series be launched in India?
According to Techno’s announcement, the Tecno Pova 5 smartphone series is going to enter the Indian market on August 14. And as mentioned earlier, the said lineup will be made available for purchase through retail stores including e-commerce site Amazon post-launch.
The company is yet to confirm the specifications of their upcoming handset. But since the phone has already seen its launch in several regional markets, we know its features. The Tecno Pova 5 4G smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD Plus (1,080×2,460 pixels) IPS LCD display. It comes with MediaTek Helio G88 processor based on 6nm processing node. It will have 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage. In the camera department, the device offers an AI-backed dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Meanwhile, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Finally, for power backup the Tecno Pova 5 4G smartphone has a 6,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.
