On April 3, Motorola launched the mid-range Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone in India. The company is reportedly planning to launch the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor-powered handset in Europe soon. In this regard, the Eurozone price of this model was revealed last week. Again today, the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone price for the European market along with the possible launch timeline and color variant information has been leaked online.

In one of their latest reports, Appulas claims that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone is going to make its debut in Europe in mid-April. Only one configuration will be launched here with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Which can be priced at 699 Euros (around Rs. 63,000).
Incidentally, the device has debuted in the Indian market with a total of two storage options. Of which the base variant with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage has been priced at Rs 31,999 (around 354 Euros). The higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option is priced at Rs 35,999 (around 398 Euros). So European buyers may end up paying around 60% more for the device than Indians.
Meanwhile, the report also talks about the color options of the Moto Edge 50 Pro model. The device will come in Europe – Lavender, Black and Pearl colors. Please note that the phone is also available in India with similar options. And 125 watt capacity charging adapter will be given in the retail box of the phone.

Moto Edge 50 Pro is the first smartphone to come with PANTONE certified display color calibration and camera output. It sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K (2712×1220 pixels) POLED curved display panel. This touchscreen is protected by SGS Eye technology and supports 144 Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+ technology. Above the display is a 50-megapixel selfie sensor with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. On the back of the device, there is a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. These are – 50-megapixel primary shooter with OIS + 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with macro shot support + a telephoto lens with 30x hybrid zoom.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and Adrenaline 732 GPU are used in this handset for better performance and multitasking. 8 GB/12 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 memory will be available as storage. This latest handset in the Edge 50 series comes pre-loaded with the new HelloUI custom skin based on Android 14. This user interface offers several features like – Moto Secure, Moto Unplugged, Family Space etc. The company has promised three Android OS upgrades and four years of security patch updates with this new phone.
Talking about other features, this Motorola branded handset comes with in-display fingerprint scanner for security and stereo speaker setup for enhanced sound delivery. It will take advantage of the thinkshield feature. Connectivity options include – Dual SIM slots, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NavIC and USB 3.1 port. The Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone has a 4,500mAh capacity battery, which supports 125W TurboPower fast charging, 50W TurboPower wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging via USB Type-C charging port. The IP68 rated device measures 161.23×72.4×8.19 mm and weighs 186 grams.
