Oppo Find X8s was launched in China last April. Oppo is preparing to launch Oppo Find X9s as its successor next year. This handset is going to be the most affordable version of the Find X series. Today a tipster has revealed some of the key features of the Oppo Find X9s, including information about its display, camera, security and battery. The compact handset is said to feature a larger battery and an overclocked version of the MediaTek Dimension 9500 chip.
Oppo Find X9s Specifications (Expected)
The tipster wrote in a post on digital chat station Weibo that the Oppo Find X9s could be launched next year. It is likely to have a compact 6.3-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED screen. The device may offer an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
Meanwhile for photography, the Oppo Find X9s handset is said to feature a triple rear camera system, housing a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. The primary camera may use a larger Sony IMX9-series sensor.
The standard Oppo Find X9 phone has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide camera. And for selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front sensor on the front of the phone. The Oppo Find X9 Pro also has the same primary and ultrawide cameras, but is upgraded with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x digital zoom and a 50-megapixel front camera.
Flagship processors will be used
The tipster says that the Oppo Find X9s model could use the upcoming MediaTek Dimension 9500 Plus processor, which is believed to be an overclocked variant of the latest MediaTek Dimension 9500 flagship chip.
The tipster said in an earlier Weibo post that the Oppo Find X9s device will be powered by at least a 7,000mAh battery. The handset will come with wired and wireless fast charging support.
Oppo Find X9 series is launching in India next month
Notably, Oppo has announced that its flagship Find X9 series will launch in India soon. The standard model will be available in Titanium Gray and Space Black colors, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro will be available in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal shades. And this lineup will debut in Barcelona on October 28. According to reports, the series is expected to launch in India on November 18.
