Prices are almost the same, Vivo V30 5G or Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be best for you

The new Vivo V30 series made its debut in the Indian market on March 7. A total of two models have come under this new series namely – Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro. Of which the standard model i.e. Vivo V30 will be available in the country with a starting price of Rs 33,999. As for the features, it will have a 1.5K AMOLED display panel, a maximum of 12 GB of RAM, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 5,000 mAh capacity battery. In this case, a smartphone was released in India last January 4th with the same price and almost similar features, called Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Today we will discuss the differences between the price and features of the recently launched Vivo V30 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G smartphone that was launched two months ago.

Vivo V30 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro+: Price

Vivo V30 is available in three attractive color options in the Indian market namely – Peacock Green, Andaman Blue and Classic Black. It will be available with a total of three storage configurations. Of which the base variant with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage has been priced at Tk 33,999. And the higher 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage options are priced at Tk 35,999 and Tk 37,999 respectively.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G smartphone has been launched in the country in – Fusion Purple, Fusion Black and Fusion White color options. It also comes in three storage options. In this case, the base 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option has been priced at Tk 29,999. Again, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage options can be bought for 31,999 taka and 33,999 taka respectively.

Vivo V30 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro+ : Display, Sensors

The Vivo V30 smartphone sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800×1260 pixels) curved AMOLED display with color-changing Fluorite AG glass panel. This display supports – 452 ppi pixel density, 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 Hz touch sampling rate, 2800 nits peak brightness, 80,00,000:1 contrast ratio and 2160 Hz PWM dimming technology. In-display fingerprint scanner is available for security.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2,712 x 1,220 pixels) AMOLED display panel. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 50,00,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,920 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. As a security feature, it will also get an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo V30 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro+: Processor, Operating System, RAM, Storage

This standard model of the new series launched by Vivo uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and Adrenaline 720 GPU. 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 ROM are available as storage. The device runs on the latest Android 14 based FunTouchOS 14 custom skin.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model features a MediaTek Dimension 7200 Ultra chipset, coupled with a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. In addition, Android 13 based MIUI 14 custom skin is pre-loaded as the operating system.

Vivo V30 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro+ : Camera setup

The Vivo V30 phone has a dual rear camera unit with Aura Light flash. The cameras are – 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS and 1/1.55-inch sensor size + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 119° field-of-view and f/2.0 aperture . Meanwhile, there is a 50-megapixel front-facing shooter with 92° field-of-view and f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. These cameras are – 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 primary sensor with f/1.65 aperture and 7P lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel macro sensor. Meanwhile, a 16-megapixel selfie camera is noticeable on the front of the device.

For power backup, the Vivo V30 smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 80W FlashCharge fast charging via USB Type-C port. It is dust and water resistant as it is IP54 rated.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G smartphone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery with 120W fast charging support. It is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

The Vivo V30 smartphone measures 164.36×75.1×7.45 mm and weighs 188 grams.
