Official teaser of Moto G64 5G released

Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G64 5G phone will be launched in India on April 16, the same day as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro launch in Europe. The teaser itself adds that the G64 5G will be the world’s first smartphone to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor. But not just the processor, Motorola has also said that it will have a massive 6,000 mAh battery, which is the best in its segment. So, it is expected to be a mid-range handset.

It is already known that the Moto G64 will support 5G 33W fast charging. And the front of the phone will have a 6.5-inch LCD panel, which will offer FullHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. And the back panel will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. The MediaTek Dimension 7025 chip is essentially an overclocked version of the Dimension 7020 processor, which is found in the Moto G54.

This new processor will be paired with a maximum of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of in-built storage. It will even support virtual RAM expansion up to 12 GB. The Moto G64 5G phone is expected to run on Android 14 operating system. Also reported, the phone will feature Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection and an IP52 rated chassis for water and dust resistance. The smartphone will be 8.89 mm thin and will weigh just 192 grams. For audio, the Moto G64 5G will get Dolby Atmos support with dual stereo speakers.
