Popular brand Motorola today (13th March) announced the Moto G (2024) series in the US and Canada markets. A total of two models come under this lineup, namely the standard Moto G (2024) and the higher-end Moto G Power 5G (2024). The base model of which is a budget-range 5G handset. The price of which is 199 dollars (approximately 16,500 taka) in America. This phone has several notable features including – 120 Hz refresh rate HD+ LCD display, Qualcomm chipset, Android 14 based custom skin, 50 megapixel dual rear camera setup, 5,000 mAh battery. The Moto G (2024) smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD Plus (1612×720 pixels) LCD punch-hole display, which offers 269 ppi pixel density, 21.5:9 aspect ratio, and 120 Hz refresh rate. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device additionally supports 4 GB virtual RAM feature. The latest Android 14 based My UX custom skin is pre-loaded as an operating system. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also provided to ensure user security.
Moto G (2024) has a dual camera unit with 50-megapixel primary sensor + 2-megapixel macro snapper on the back panel for photography and videography. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is prominent on the front of the device. Moto G (2024) Smartphone Availability
As per the company’s announcement, the Moto G (2024) smartphone will be available on T-Mobile and Metro from March 21. Also available through other carriers and MVNOs in the country. Please note that the unlocked version of this phone can be purchased from the US branch website of the Motorola brand as well as from Amazon US and Best Buy US from May 2. The smartphone will go on sale in Canada on the same date.
It is still uncertain when the Moto G (2024) smartphone will be released in other domestic markets including India.
