Great news, Nokia is not killing the smartphone business, this year will launch 17 new phones

Recently, HMD Global changed the name of NokiaMobile account to HMD on social media. The Finland-based company owned Nokia since 2016. But it is heard that their contract with Nokia brand has also expired recently. As a result, many thought that HMD wants to end Nokia’s tour. But actually the company took these strategic decisions as it focused on establishing the HMD brand as the new powerhouse in the smartphone industry. GSMChina claims in their report that 17 new Nokia phones are going to hit the market this year. The current official agreement between Nokia and HMD runs until 2026.
