Flagship devices released in 2021 such as the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will offer access to a limited number of AI features. Although the features are yet to be made public. But upcoming features are believed to be – Google Circle Search and Chat Assist functions. The function of the first one is, to find out about any subject-matter seen online or to buy it, you have to draw a circle on it and then Google will automatically display all the results related to it. Chat Assist, on the other hand, will let users adjust the tone and style of messages via the Samsung keyboard.

In 2022, the flagships under the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Tab S8 series will each offer more AI features under upcoming software updates. However, users will not get access to the instant slo-mo feature. Please note that with this feature – it is possible to watch videos in slow motion by long tapping on the screen. A recent report by a Samsung Korea community moderator stated that Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors used in devices launched before 2023 do not support the instant slo-mo feature due to hardware limitations.

Meanwhile, One UI 6.1 (One UI 6.1) update rich with artificial intelligence features is said to be rolled out in early May. In this case, it is believed that this update release period may have been set for the Korean market. Samsung is yet to confirm the global rollout schedule of their latest OS update. Likely, the update will be rolled out gradually for other regions by the end of May or in June.
