
The number of motorcycles is not high in thousands of CC segments in India. Honda is appearing in the country market with a high-performance two-wheeler to satisfy the bike-lovers' excitement. The Japanese company has officially tied the Honda CB1000 Hornet model on social media channels in their Bigwing Showroom. It is expected that the bike will be launched very soon. It is about to enter Honda in the litter-class, street naked segment.
Although CB1000 Hornet is found in two variants abroad, it is unclear whether the two variants will be launched in India. Keep in mind, Honda is successfully moving in the two-wheeler market of high-capacity. They recently brought the X-Adv 750 adventure scooter to this country. This is a large scooter of maxi-style. The price has been kept at Tk 1.5 lakh (x-showroom).
Honda CB1000 Hornet: Engine and Features
The Honda CB3 Hornet is operated by a 4cc inline four cylinder engine, which produces a maximum of 5 horsepower at a speed of 5 rpm and 5 NM torque at 5 rpm. This engine is associated with a six-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the bike's more powerful SP variant output is 5 BHP and 5 NM.
In the context of features, the bike has three preset ride modes – Rain, Standard and Sport. Again two customizable 'user' mode available. In user mode, riders will be able to change parameters such as throttle response and traction control according to their requirements. The motorcycle also has a color TFT display, LED projector headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity.
