WhatsApp keeps updating itself gradually with time. As a result, this world famous messaging platform is often adding new features. Although not everyone will be able to use them immediately, there is room for dissatisfaction, but after the launch of the new feature, it was first tested among selected users in the WhatsApp Beta version. A new feature has been spotted in the experimental version of WhatsApp since the end of February, according to reports, with the help of this app users will soon be able to send all media in HD quality and not have to choose HD quality again and again for each picture or video. This means that once the feature is rolled out, the quality of media files shared on WhatsApp will be HD by default.
WhatsApp new update: All media files will be shared in HD
The option to share media files in HD quality is already available on WhatsApp, but each time you send a multimedia file you have to tap the ‘HD’ button separately.
But once the new feature arrives, WhatsApp users will be able to set the quality of shared media in advance, so that they don’t have to compromise between choosing standard or HD quality over and over again.
The new feature has been spotted in the Android beta (version 2.24.5.6) currently available on the Google Play Store. However, since the new feature is still in development, it may take time to reach all users.
How will WhatsApp’s new feature work?
Meanwhile, a screenshot of WhatsApp’s new media feature has also been shared, detailing how it will work. In this case, it will work if you go to the settings and select the ‘HD’ option as the media upload quality.
