If not, now you will be able to find it easily from home, as the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced the addition of a new feature on its website and mobile app, through which users can now verify their Aadhaar linked mobile number and email ID. Can easily verify. Many people do not know which mobile number is linked with their Aadhaar card. That’s why people were worried whether Aadhaar OTP is going to some other mobile number. Now because of this feature people will be able to find out easily.

  • To verify the mobile number or email ID linked to Aadhaar card, you must first open the official website (or mAadhaar app).
  • To find out the mobile number or email ID, you have to go to ‘Verify email/mobile Number’ under the My Aadhaar section. Here you will be able to see which mobile number or email ID is linked with your Aadhaar card.
  • If a particular number is not linked to your Aadhaar card, it then informs the resident. After this, if you wish, you can take the necessary steps to update the mobile number.
  • If your mobile number is already verified, the resident will see a message like- ‘The mobile number entered by you is already verified from our records’.
  • If a resident does not remember the mobile number provided during enrollment, they can check the last three digits of the mobile number under the Aadhaar Verify feature on the Myaadhaar portal or mAadhaar app.

Explain that to link email and mobile number with Aadhaar, you have to visit your nearest Aadhaar center.
