Vinfast is going to start business in the Indian market with a bunch of electric cars. This Vietnamese company showcased their various models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo event. Among them is the company's smallest electric vehicle VF 3, a micro EV in the spotlight. The car has received good response in the company's home market i.e. Vietnam. It could push the MG Comet EV when launched in India.
The Vinfast VF 3 is a compact two-door four-seater electric car with a length of 3,190 mm, width of 1679 mm and height of 1622 mm. Despite being small in size, the company claims the car to be a mini-SUV. The silhouette of this retro design electric car is like a box. The ground clearance is 191 mm and runs on 16-inch alloy wheels. The wheels are aerodynamically optimized.
Vinfast VF 3 Features
The Vinfast VF3 comes with a freestanding 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, features like panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, keyless entry and more will be available. The interior of the car has a two-spoke steering wheel. As for boot space, the company says the cargo space expands to 285 liters when the rear seat is folded down.
Vinfast VF 3 Battery, Range, Charging
The Vinfast VF3 is powered by a 32 kW electric motor located on the rear axle. It delivers a maximum torque of 110 Nm. The pickup can do 0-50 kmph in 5.3 seconds. The motor is coupled to an 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery can travel up to 210 km on a full charge. Using a fast charger, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 70% in just 39 minutes.
