TVS's First Electric Bike Race Record in India

E-OMC is the electric version of OMC or One Make Championship. Every year the petrol powered TVS Apache RTR 200 4V participates in this racing event. But this time, the company organized e-OMC mainly to showcase the capabilities of TVS Apache RTE. Let's know about this electric racing bike.

TVS Apache RTE features high capacity liquid cooled motor and battery pack with advanced chemistry. It maintains the power to weight ratio beautifully. Custom battery management system with race based algorithm ensures great performance and safety of the bike. TVS has left no stone unturned when it comes to building this bike.

The TVS Apache RTE is offered with single reduction chain cover, bespoke Ohlins suspension, Brembo braking system with 320 mm front disc, and Pirelli Super Corsa tires with carbon fiber wheels. Aerodynamic carbon fiber fairing helps reduce drag. It also contributes to the speed of the storm over the wind barrier.

A total of eight skilled riders were selected for the inaugural season of the E-OMC. They helped showcase the ultimate capabilities of the TVS Apache RTE on the racing track. In the first round, Sarthak Chebhan won first place. Chirant V and Alwin Sundar occupied the second and third positions respectively. Each has crossed the double century on the speedometer.
