Planning to buy a new motorcycle in the new year? Then there is good news for you. Adishwar Auto Ride, the distributor of Benelli and Keeway brand two-wheelers in India, has announced a price cut for three of its models in the Indian market. The brand’s motorcycle has become cheaper by over Rs 60,000 depending on the model. So let’s see exactly how much money you can save.
Benelli and Keeway motorcycle prices reduced
Among the price cuts are – Benelli Leoncino 500, Benelli 502C and Keeway K300 N. The price of the first one has come down by Rs 61,000 to Rs 4.99 lakh now. 60,000 cheaper by Rs 5.25 lakh to buy the second one. And the third model is currently priced at Rs 26,000 to Rs 2.29 lakh. Note, all above prices are ex-showroom.
Incidentally, the Leoncino 500 and the Benelli 502C share the same engine. That 500 cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled engine produces a maximum power of 46.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 46 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. However, a quickshifter is not offered.
On the other hand, the Keeway K300 N is powered by a powerful 292.4 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 27 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The gearbox is a six unit. Incidentally, from the price cut decision, it is clear that Indian buyers are turning away from those bikes. Despite the company’s after-sales network and showrooms, it is not being sold that way in the country. So only if it can keep competitive prices, then sales are likely to increase.
