KTM last month announced a discount of Rs 20,000 on their 250 Duke bike as a year-on-year offer. The discount was valid till December 31. But now it is known that the motorcycle can be bought at the same discount in January as well. The offer will run till this month. As a result, the 250 Duke model can be brought home for Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). At this rate, Duke can be considered a value-for-money product.
KTM 250 Duke: Specifications and Features
Notably, the KTM 250 Duke received significant upgrades last year. The bike now has a sharp front design inspired from the 390 Duke. The new-style headlamps feature boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, which add a touch of modernity. The bike is powered by a 248 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 31 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The Duke 250 comes with a 5.0-inch full-color TFT display. It supports turn-by-turn navigation, headset pairing, and smartphone connectivity via the KTM Connect app. Riders can choose between two display modes – Street and Track. Besides, four-way menu switch, switchable ABS, and bidirectional quickshifter are notable among other features.
This bike has up-sound down fork and monoshock for suspension. The Duke runs on 17-inch alloy wheels. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. The KTM 250 Duke rivals the TVS Apache RTR 310 and the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the Indian market.
