Ducati recently launched a pair of rugged bikes in India – Streetfighter V4 and Streetfighter V4 S. In the Indian market, these two superbikes are priced at Rs 24.62 lakh and Rs 27.80 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. However, the Gray Nero color model of the V4 S is priced at Rs 28 lakh. Their rivals in the Indian market are – BMW S 1000 RR and Kawasaki Z H2 respectively.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S launched in India
Both motorcycles are powered by the super powerful 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine. It will produce a maximum of 205 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quick shifter are provided to match the high-powered engine.
The Panigale V4’s fuel tank is present on the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S. Its capacity is 16.5 liters. Both sides have new side covers. Ducati offers a new ‘Wet’ riding mode in it. The V4 S features a lithium-ion battery, which is 1.7 kg lighter than before.
Notable features on the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S include the SmartEC 2.0 interface with semi-active Ohlins suspension. Rims are with aluminum alloy. The swing arm is 4 mm higher than before. New graphics have been added to the instrument cluster. Again the cooling fan has been updated to keep the temperature right.
