It has been rumored for the past few months that it is coming to India. Numerous riders are eagerly waiting for the launch. This time the bike was seen testing for the first time in India. From this it can be said that the Versys X 300 could be unveiled in India this year itself.
Kawasaki Versys X 300 testing begins in India
A look at the Kawasaki Versys X 300 gives a clear idea of its design and bodywork. Among the highlights are the single pod headlights and the accompanying transparent visor. Which adds a new dimension to the look. There is also a long tank extension. It will cover the radiator guard of the bike.
Kawasaki plans for the Versys X 300, which will feature a 296 cc, parallel twin cylinder engine. Which is also present in the Ninja 300 sports bike. It produces a maximum power of 39 bhp and a torque of 26 Nm. The number of gears will be six. However, the company did not say anything specific about when it is being launched.
As notable features, the Kawasaki Versys X 300 may be offered with bulb illumination throughout, dual channel ABS and side stand cut-off sensor. As hardware, it has telescopic front fork and rear monoshock suspension. Disc brakes are provided on two wheels to handle the braking duties. The bike will run on spoke wheels with tube tires. The price can be pegged around Rs 5 lakh.
