Tata Motors has a good reputation in the SUV market in India. Tata Nexon was once the best selling SUV in the country. However, the Tata Punch has been holding the crown in the SUV segment despite falling behind in the sales competition recently. Tata made a big announcement about the Nexon in mid-June. The sub-4-metre compact SUV has touched the milestone of selling 7 lakh units in India. To celebrate this moment of joy, special events are being organized by Tata dealers and showrooms across the country.
Special offer for Tata Nexon sales touching 7 lakhs
The company has announced a benefit of up to Rs 1 lakh (benefits depend on model and variant) for customers who have already booked the Tata Nexon and are waiting for delivery. However, this offer is applicable for those who book before June 30.
Note that Tata Nexon was first launched in 2017. It is currently offered in four variants – Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless. Besides, Dark Edition version is available in Creative and Fearless variants. The car is available in seven color options.
The Tata Nexon is available in two engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo petrol motor produces a maximum power of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. It is available in 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and new 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission options. The diesel engine produces 113 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. It is available in 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT options.
