Sony Xperia 1 III specifications have been tipped ahead of the official launch. The company hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the launch of the smartphone but Sony is holding an event on April 14 and may launch Sony Xperia 1 III and a couple of other products at that event. But ahead of launch, a tipster on Weibo has tipped all of the specifications.

Sony Xperia 1 III will feature a 6.5 inches 4K OLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, 10 bits color depth, HDR support, and a 1300 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered with Snapdragon 888 coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. The device is accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone will boast a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 60x lossless zoom. The periscope lens may come with Sony’s Cyber-Shot optimizations. The device may come running on Android 11 out of the box.
The device will come equipped with a 5000mah battery and may support 65W fast charging. As per the tipster, the phone will arrive in Chinese markets by June this year and may sell for 8,999 yuan ( Rs. 1,00,000 approx ). However, the things become more clear after the Sony’s April 14 event.
