Ulefone Armor 8 5G is going to be the first rugged 5G smartphone. This is the 5G version of Armor 8 that was already announced in August this year. The company has also shared a video comparing the real-time internet speeds of Armor 8 5G with the iPhone 11.
The video clearly shows the difference in the downloading and uploading speeds. Armor 8 5G on 5G network able to pull download and upload speeds of around 450 and 114 Mbps while the iPhone 11 on 4G network struggles to get 40 Mbps upload and download speeds.
The video also shows that Armor 8 has better speeds while surfing online videos, app and video downloads, and render better fps in online gaming compared to the iPhone. The Armor 8 5G also seems to have low network latency of around 69ms compared to the 109ms on the iPhone 11.
Ulefone Armor 8 5G Specifications
Ulefone Armor 8 5G looks similar to Armor 8 4G version, so the 5G version is expected to feature the same 6.1 inches FHD+ U-shaped notch display. Armor 8 5G is confirmed to be powered by MediTek Dimensity 800 SoC, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of camera, the phone will boast a triple rear camera that includes 64-megapixel primary sensor. The Ulefone Armor 8 5G is packed with a 5080mah battery and the charging speeds are not specified yet. The phone will run on Android 10 out of the box. The company hasn’t revealed the pricing yet but it will be priced aggressively as it hoasts a mid-range 5G chipset from MediaTek.
