
Realme 8i and Realme 8s India launch have been confirmed by the company CEO in the latest episode of the AskMadhav series. Realme 8i is the successor of the Realme 7i which was debuted back in September. On the other hand, Realme 8s is expected to be a slightly upgraded version of the Realme 8 5G.
Realme 8i and Realme 8s confirmed
Realme is all set to expand its Realme 8 series portfolio. Recently, Realme India & Europe CEO, Madhav Seth has confirmed the two upcoming devices from the Realme 8 series in the latest episode of the AskMadhav series. As per the recent report, The Realme 8s will feature a 6.5-inches display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 810 chipset. The chipset will be paired with 6 GB & 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB & 256 GB of storage. The device will have a 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel rear camera setup. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging technology.
Additionally, a new Realme phone with model number RMX3151 was spotted on multiple certification sites such as FCC, TKDN (Indonesia), BIS (India), and EEC (Europe). As per the FCC certification, the Realme 8i will measure 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5mm and its weight could be around 194 grams. It will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset will pack a 5,000mAh battery and may support connectivity features like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. Both the upcoming Realme 8 phones will come preinstalled with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.
However, The exact launch date of Realme 8s and Realme 8i has been not confirmed by the company yet. So, this piece of information should be taken with pinch of salt.
