Realme 8 5G spotted on Google Play Console listing revealing the key specifications. The smartphone has been also spotted on Geekbench and officially teased by the Realme Thailand on its Social Media handle. Realme 8 series is officially launching on April 21 in Thailand while the Indian launch is rumored to held on April 22.

As per the Google Play Console Listing, the Realme 8 5G will feature a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution along with 480 DPI pixel density. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered with MediaTek MT6883 chipset which is the code name of MediaTek Dimensity 800. It is unclear that the phone will come Dimensity 800 or Dimensity 700 as the Geekbench listing has revealed that the phone will come with MediaTek Dimensity 700.
The Dimensity 800 is an octa-core processor built on a 7nm fabrication process and designed for mid-range smartphones. The device will come running on Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI on top. It will be accompanied by 8GB of RAM and more.
Moreover, the Realme 8 5G is confirmed to come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 by the Realme Thailand Facebook handle. It might be possible that the Indian variant of the phone will come from Mediatek Dimensity 800. Additionally, the company also confirmed the 5000mah battery, and 90Hz fast refresh rate display as well. However, Realme India hasn’t confirmed anything regarding Realme 8 5G but it is expected to launch soon.
