Since then, the speculation of Ola S1 X price drop became one of the topics of discussion. It was heard that on April 15, i.e. today, the company is going to announce a price cut. Ola made that speculation come true. The S1 X can now be bought at an ex-showroom price of Rs 69,999 instead of Rs 79,999. Many see it as a gift from Ola to customers on the occasion of Bengali New Year.
Ola Electric has reduced the price of S1 X scooter
The Ola S1 X is currently available in three variants. The price has been reduced from Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000 each. At the same time, the company said that the booking of this scooter is currently open. Ola will start delivery within the next few weeks.
The company feels that the price cut will attract more buyers to the Ola S1 X. This will increase the use of electric scooters in India. There are currently three variants of the S1 X, 2 kWh, 3 kWh and the top-end 4 kWh battery model. As a result of the price cut, it currently costs Rs 69,999, Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) respectively.
The previous models were priced at Rs 79,999, Rs 89,999 and Rs 1,09,999 respectively. Incidentally, the cheapest electric scooter in the S1 range is the Ola S1 X. Other models in the company’s lineup are – S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1X+. On the other hand, Ola is currently working on four different electric motorcycles. The company had already showcased the concept version of these. Ola has also started making an electric car.
