Ola Electric (Ola Electric) is finally going to succeed in its attempt to make the countrymen ride cheap electric scooters. The company has announced the sale date of its entry-level model Ola S1 Air. The sale window is opening from July 28 for interested buyers to purchase it. The window will remain open till the night of July 30. However, from July 31, you will have to pay Rs 1,19,999 (ex-showroom) to buy the S1 Air. Delivery starts from first of August.
Ola S1 Air goes on sale from July 28
After the official announcement, Ola Electric wrote in a post on their Twitter handle, “The all-new versatile S1 Air is coming on July 28.” Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of the company, said in a post that the e-Scooty has been priced at Rs 1,09,999. From July 31 which will increase to Tk 1,19,999 (ex-showroom).
Ola has special benefits for existing customers. They can book S1 Air before July 28. And you will get a chance to buy it at the introductory price (Tk. 1,09,999). Incidentally, the S1 Air has a 3 kWh battery pack. Ola claims that it can provide a range of 125 km on a full charge.
A hub motor present in the Ola S1 Air. Which will help it reach a top speed of 90 kmph. The Hyperdrive electric motor will produce a maximum power of 11.3 HP and a torque of 58 Nm. The scooter features LED headlamp, 7.0-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, reverse mode, OTA update, remote boot lock/unlock and music playback.
Again Ola S1 Air has three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. As suspension, it gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Recently, Ola claimed that their cheap electric scooter has been road tested for more than 5 lakh kilometers.
