Hero MotoCorp recently launched a new variant of the full-faired motorcycle, the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V in India. Surprisingly, it has four valves. Meanwhile, the long-standing KTM RC 200 in the segment is steadily gaining ground. It is also recently launched in new version. On the other hand, the KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-valve engine. It produces a maximum power of 24 HP and a torque of 19.2 Nm. It has a 6-speed transmission. That means KTM RC 200 with liquid cooled powertrain has more power than Xtreme 200S 4V.

Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is priced at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the KTM RC 200 costs Rs 2.18 lakh (ex-showroom). Talking about the features, both the motorcycles have a full digital instrument cluster. Additionally the Xtreme 200S 4V features turn by turn navigation and start/stop technology.
Whereas the KTM RC 200 offers switchable rear ABS. Which is missing in Xtreme 200S 4V. So if you want a low budget motorcycle with more features, Xtreme 200S 4V is the ideal model. Those who want some premium features and high performance can definitely buy the KTM RC 200.
