Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is India’s cheapest car with automatic gearbox topping today’s list. It is powered by a 1.0 liter regular petrol engine. The power and torque output produced from this engine is 65.7 bhp and 89 Nm respectively. There are five-speed manual and automatic gear box options.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso (Price starts from Tk 5.76 lakh)

Second on the list is the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. Powering the car is the same 1.0-litre petrol engine used in the Alto. It also has a five-speed manual gear box as well as an automatic transmission system.

Renault Kwid (Price starts from Tk 6.12 lakh)

The Kwid is the cheapest four-wheeler model produced by French carmaker Renault. There are two engine options of 1.0 liter and 800 cc. While the latter has only a five-speed manual gearbox, the former has an automatic option.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR (Prices starting from Tk 6.55 lakh)

Maruti Suzuki Wagoner is a slightly larger looking hatchback car at a pocket-friendly price. It also offers two engine options – the first is a 1.0 liter and the second is a 1.2 liter regular petrol engine. While both come with a five-speed manual transmission system, only the latter has Maruti running the automatic version.

Tata Tiago (Price starts at Tk 6.92 lakh)

The fifth and last car on today’s list is the Tata Tiago. It is the entry level model manufactured by Tata Motors. It is powered by a 1.2-litre regular petrol engine that produces 84bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. There are five-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
