New Honda Unicorn bike launch with 10 years warranty, know the price before buying

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India or HMSI (HMSI) has launched the updated version of one of their most popular motorcycles in the Indian market, the Unicorn. The motorcycle is compliant with the new OBD2 emission regulations. It is priced at Rs 1,09,800 (ex-showroom). The bike comes in single variant. The 2023 Honda Unicorn rivals the Bajaj Pulsar 150, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and Bajaj Pulsar N150 in the market.

Honda is offering a standard warranty of 3 years on the motorcycle. Again it can be optioned with 7 years extended warranty. The 2023 Honda Unicorn is powered by a 160 cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine. From which 13.27 bhp of power is available at 7,500 rpm and 14.58 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. 5-speed gearbox coupled with kick start and self start engine.

Based on a diamond type frame, the motorcycle features telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by front and rear 240mm disc and 130mm drum brakes respectively. Single channel ABS is offered. 18 inch alloy tubeless tires are provided. The bike will run on 80/100 section tires at the front and 100/90 section tires at the rear.

The Honda Unicorn was so far only available in Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic and Matte Axis Gray Metallic color schemes. This time Honda has added Pearl Siren Blue color to it. Commenting on the launch of the new motorcycle, Yogesh Mathur, Director (Sales & Marketing) of the company said, “Honda Unicorn has always maintained its heritage in terms of unique vision, power and performance. We believe the updated model to meet the latest standards will set a trend in its segment.”
