MSI GP Leopard | MSI Pulse GL | and MSI Katana GF Gaming laptops have been announced in India. There are a total of 10 devices in MSI GP Leopard | MSI Pulse GL | and MSI Katana GF Gaming laptops series, MSI GP Leopard series is introduced as the most premium one with the 11th generation Intel Core H-series chipset. On the other hand, the Pulse GL series, and Katana GF series are powered by i5 and i7 Intel processors.

The MSI GP Leopard series comes in two variants – MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG and MSI GP66 Leopard 11UG. Except for the display sizes, Both versions have the same specs. MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG features a 17.3-inches IPS LCD FHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate, while, MSI GP66 Leopard 11UG boasts a 15.6-inch FHD display with the same 240Hz refresh rate.


Under the hood, The series is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor and coupled with 8GB of GDDR6 RTX 3070 GPU. In terms of storage, The laptops have up to 64GB expandable RAM and NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD. Additional feature includes stereo speakers powered by Nahimic 3 Audio Enhance technology, an HDMI port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a mini DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, and Wi-Fi 6E support.

Similar to the MSI GP Leopard series, The Pulse GL series comes in two models – MSI Pulse GL76 and MSI Pulse GL66. The noticeable difference between the Leopard series and the Pulse series is the screen refresh rate, connectivity, and PCIe storage option. The Pulse GL76 sport a 17.3-inches IPS LCD FHD display, whereas, the Pulse GL66 has a 15.6-inches IPS LCD FHD display. Both the laptops feature a 144Hz refresh rate. In the comparison of the MSI GP Leopard series, the Pulse series misses does not have a Gigabit Ethernet port but has other USB ports including Gen1 Type-C, Gen1 Type-A, and USB 2.0 Type-A port. Further, The pulse series also misses on PCIe Gen4 storage.

The Katana series doesn’t differ much in the comparison of the Pulse series, except for the processors and GPUs. Same as the leopard and Pulse series, The Katana GF series features two screen sizes – 17.3-inch and 15.6-inch. Both the variants support a 144Hz refresh rate and FHD resolution. Coming to the processor, The Katana series runs on 11th generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processors with 6GB/4GB of GDDR6 RTX 3060/RTX 3050 GPUs.
