MG Motor India has launched their premium car in India after recently releasing a teaser on its official social media handle. Named – MG Gloster BlackStorm. The car has been priced at Rs 40.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. The new special edition version tops the Gloster range. Its looks will attract anyone more than the standard model.
MG Gloster BlackStorm comes in two variants – two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Their prices have been kept at Tk 40.30 lakh and Tk 43.08 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). The car can be optioned in a metallic black paint scheme with blacked-out parts. It also has black alloy wheels.
The ORVM, front and rear bumpers, inner headlamps, brake calipers and side door protectors of the MG Gloster BlackStorm Edition have been painted red to add visual appeal. The cabin is also given a touch of red with an all-black layout. The car can be chosen in six and seven seater configurations.
There is no change in the technical specifications of the MG Gloster BlackStorm over the standard model. It has a 2.0 liter diesel engine. It has a total of two output types to choose from. One produces 161 PS of power and 374 Nm of torque. And the other one outputs 216 PS and 479 Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is offered with both the engines.
