Tipster Revegnus has revealed some important details about the specifications of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in a new tweet, which does not support previous leaks. According to the tipster, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will offer the same primary camera and display technology as its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. That is, the handset will have a 48-megapixel resolution Sony IMX803 camera sensor, which is a 1/1.28-inch quad-bare camera. It is already present in iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models So for all the iPhone fans who were expecting a new main camera based on the Sony IMX903, 1-inch sensor in the new Pro Max model, this news may come as a disappointment.
Also, it is believed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature the same M12 OLED panel technology found in the current generation model. Although this display technology has achieved excellent results based on tests, one cannot expect a significant improvement in terms of display brightness levels or other enhancements on the 15 Pro Max. However, the display size may vary slightly. Recent reports claim that the successor will be 159.8mm tall compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s 160.7mm and 76.7mm wide instead of 77.6mm.
