Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the new flagship multipurpose vehicle or MPV Invicto in the Indian market on July 5. This mid-size car will come as a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross. Maruti has announced the start of bookings for the car ahead of the launch. Interested buyers can book the car from the company’s Nexa dealership for Rs 25,000. Booking can be done soon from Nexa’s website.
Bookings for Maruti Suzuki Invicto have started
The leaked images show that the Maruti Suzuki Invicto has a different front design than the Innova Hycross. It will occupy the top spot in Maruti Suzuki’s passenger car lineup. Because it is going to be their most expensive model. The car will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka. But Suzuki will sell it using its own badging.
Incidentally, in 2017, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota tied the knot to jointly bring the car to the country. In addition to multiple models, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider has been followed by the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Meanwhile, the Hycross MPV model is in such high demand that one has to wait several months to get the keys to the car after booking.
The Invicto will be the first car from Maruti to come with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to avoid accidents. Again, as the company’s second model, it will have a strong hybrid powertrain and a panoramic sunroof. Also, the car may be available in 7 or 8 seats like the Innova Hicross.
