Mahindra XUV700 EV design leaked, 500 km on a single charge

Indian automobile joint Mahindra has now started testing the electric version of their XUV700 SUV. It will be launched within the next few years. The car was first unveiled in a concept version called the XUV.e8. Now some important information about the final version of the car has come out from the leaked design patent. For example, the Mahindra XUV700 Electric is largely similar to the concept version in terms of design.

The electric SUV has a closed front grill. English T-shaped LED DRLs are attached to the underside of the hood by LED bars. Also, C-shaped LED headlamps, copper color logo, and skid plate differentiate the car from the regular model. However, the front bumper and foglamps are carried over from the petrol/diesel model.

No details about the interior design of the Mahindra XUV.e8 are known. Although various features of the IC version are likely to be used in it. Also features relevant to electric vehicles will be seen. The question is, what is the specialty of the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 Electric? In this context, the car will be based on the company’s brand new INGLO platform. which falls under Mahindra’s new electric sub-brand XUV.e.

As a power source, the Mahindra XUV700 electric version may be offered with a 60-80 kWh battery pack. It is supposed to provide a range of 500 km on a full charge. Meanwhile, the company is planning to launch a six-seater model of the XUV700. Recently it was seen to be tested. Apart from reducing the number of seats, there is no change in design or features. The car is expected to be launched during the festive season of 2023.
