Mahindra Scorpio is quite popular in India as a full-bodied SUV. Mahindra launched the more modern Scorpio N about two years ago. The hardcore SUV reached the peak of popularity within a short period of time. To add fuel to the fire of this popularity, today they brought a new variant of Scorpio N, Z8 Select. It has a lot of features in a low budget. The price of Scorpio N Z8 Select starts from Tk 16.99 lakh and goes up to Tk 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Scorpio N Z8 Select: Variants & Price
So far, Scorpio N was available in multiple variants according to customer preferences. The newly launched Z8 Select sits just below the top model Z8 and Z8 L. The Z8 Select is available with petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions separately. Petrol manual and automatic models are priced at Tk 16.99 lakh and Tk 18.49 lakh respectively. On the other hand, the manual and automatic versions of the diesel engine are priced at Tk 17.99 lakh and Tk 18.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
Talking about the price, if you buy the same version of the Z8 Select compared to the petrol manual variant of the Z8, you can save up to Rs. 1.65 lakh. On the other hand, the price difference between Z8 and Z8 Select diesel manual is around Rs 1.11 lakh.
Scorpio N Z8 Select: Features
The arrival of the new variant Z8 Select trim adds double barrel LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps and LED turn indicators (located on the ORVM). It comes with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in Midnight Black color scheme, which is quite eye-catching in terms of design.
The coffee black leatherette work adds another dimension to the beauty of the Z8 Select variant’s cabin. It has built-in Alexa and Adrenox Connect features. This model has a 7-inch TFT display as an instrument cluster as well as an 8-inch touch screen display as an infotainment system. A total of 60 connected car features will be available thanks to Adrenox Connect technology. Additionally, there is a sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Scorpio N Z8 Select: Engine Specifications
The Scorpio N Z8 Select is available in petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions. The 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine is capable of producing a maximum of 197 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. And the 2.2 liter diesel engine outputs 173 bhp and 400 Nm.
Besides, the safety features include frequency dependent damping (FDD), multi-tuned valves, central land (MTV-CL), four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, ESP, six airbags. The Scorpio N Z8 Select variant will be available at dealers from March 1. Mahindra authorities have said that emphasis will be placed on more volume production infrastructure to reduce delivery time.
